I have wonderful memories of cutting our Christmas tree. I loved the hot chocolate and candy canes, but most of all I loved the wonderful smell of the pretty outdoor greenery.
Back at home it was so fun to find the right branch for my favorite ornaments.
The crowning moment was to finish adding garland and an angel or star to the top of the tree.
I remember when my little sister was talking to Grandma on the phone one day. She was so happy to tell her how we decorated our Christmas tree and then we "put all those pretty toys on there".
Isn't that cute? Some of the ornaments do look like toys: balls, dolls, and musical instruments. They sure are treasures!
Most of these are easy preschool and kindergarten Christmas coloring pages.
Here you'll find funny Christmas coloring pages and a snowman Christmas coloring sheet.
There are so many times when children will use the same color all over a picture.
If this happens to you, take a moment to show the kids ideas of which colors might look good in the ornaments.
Most trees are green, yet it is fun to see trees of other colors. Artificial trees frequently are not green.
Have a Merry Christmas!
